Outreach activities are conducted in Marungur-Thoppur, Rajavoor and five schools in the Coastal villages in the Colachel belt namely Enayam Puthen Thurai, Ritapuram, Aalanchi, Mangalakuntru and Kurumbanai. Spoken English Training is given by our faculty to the school children of 9th and 11th Std. We also conduct several programmes for rural school children & teachers in Life skill orientations & English.
Summer Courses in Effective Communication skills and Computer awareness were conducted in the college during April-May 2011. 315 students from St.Antony’s Higher Secondary School Azhappapuram, Little Flower Higher Secondary School Nagercoil, Ponjesley Higher Secondary School Nagercoil, Government Higher Secondary Schools Thovalai, Aralvaimozhi & Marungoor, participated in the programme. Sponsored by the college the programme was coordinated by our team of high profile teachers. All the participants enjoyed every presentation and made the most of the opportunity.
