We celebrated the third annual day on 7March2011. His Excellency Most Rev.Peter Remigius accompanied by seven other parish priests honoured the LITES community by celebrating the High Mass and dedicated the Knowledge Resource Centre. Mr.D.R.Selvanayagam, Chief General Manager of ISRO, LPSC, Mahendragiri, was the Chief Guest. He shared his experiences in ISRO and inspired the young budding engineers to be use to the society and nation and also emphasized the service of ISRO to the society and the world at large. He taught how the engineering students can convert their dreams into reality by transforming their acquired knowledge into research activities. Faculty members who were involved in various activities such as the Department of Value Education, Outreach programme, Placement and Training and those who published books were honoured. Students who won in the University level competitions in academic, cultural and sports were honoured. There was a variety cultural programme with Bharathanatiyam, Karakaatam and Western performances.
