TECHNOLOGY CONTRIBUTIONS IN ISRO |
Even though technology was available for designing ejectors in the chemical industries in India for pumping small quantities of toxic fumes at near ambient temperatures from 250 mb pressure to ambient pressure (pressure ratio around 4), the technology was not available for pumping out the rocket exhaust gases at a total temperature of 3000K from 2.5mb to 1000mb (pressure ratio around 400 ). This technology gap was bridged by specializing in the field of ejector design for handling very large gas flow rate at temperature around 3000 K from 2.5mb pressure to atmosphere pressure. This technology is now developed in India by building High altitude Test Facilities in ISRO where these ejectors are successfully established and operated. |

ACHIEVEMENTS IN KARUNYA
Leadership
A college which faced many strikes repeatedly was transformed, brought up to be one of the best in that region, made to grow into a Deemed University under his leadership. |
|
Placement and Training
A powerful training programme was organized to develop Communication Skills, Computer Knowledge, Personality Skills, Aptitude and Test of Reasoning. Many MNC companies were brought to the campus and 70% of the students got placements. |
|
Achievement in SCAD, CET
The pass percentage in SCAD College of Engineering & Technology improved from 27% to 60% in 2 semesters. This is a remarkable achievement for a rural college like SCAD College of Engineering & Technology. |
