A . His Excellency, Most Rev. Peter Remigius D.D the Honourable Bishop of Kottar and 14 other priests jointly offered the High Mass at 3.30 pm on 20/04/2008 and prayed for the growth of the Institution and for the welfare of the Trustees and their family members. Floral arrangement of the altar was done by Clunny Sisters. Rev.Sr.Maria Therez of Clunny Convent was leading the Church prayer and Nanjil Natham Choir added synchronized music for the occasion.
Large number of Jesuit Priests stationed in St.Xavier's College, Palayamkottai and Carmel School , Ramanputhur and Diocesan Priests including Rev.Fr.Maria Dasan our beloved Vicar General, Fr.Kulanthaisamy, Rev.Fr.Soosai, Rev.Fr.Sarvacius, Rev.Fr.DR.Hilarius, Ph.D., were present to bless the college. Rev. Sisters belonging to St.Alphonsa convent, St. Joseph 's Convent, St. Anne's Convent and Holy Cross College and Cluny Sisters (in addition to the Trustees & their family members) were present to dedicate the Institute to the Nation.
Certificate of Trust was handed over to the Trustees by the Honourable Bishop. The Engineering Consultant Mr. Justin Moses M.Tech., was honoured and awarded a gold chain by Rev. Fr.N.Casimir Raj acknowledging his hard work. The building with the plinth area of 55,000 Sq.ft housing all class rooms, Library, Labs, Workshops, Staff room and specially Digital Library and Language Lab were completed in just 9 months.
At 11.00 AM, Housing Warming Ceremony was organised. This was followed by an interaction session with the invitees. Topics like how to run the institution (daily routine), connectivity with the parents, interaction between boys and girls in the campus, practicing English language, Placement and Training, faculty members' skills to counsel the students and requirements of qualified counsellors were discussed and a few decisions were arrived at.
The goals were explained by the Founder Trustee to the honourable Bishop. After the Blessing and dedication Ceremony, the Governing Council consisting of DR. M.T. NICHOLAS M.S. Ph.D, DR.A.E. MUTHUNAYAGAM ME. Ph.D., Rev.Fr.DR. N. CASIMIR RAJ. S.J., Rev.Fr. DR. JOSEPH XAVIER S.J., Rev. Sr. DR. GERARDINE Ph.D., MR.A.L. SEKAR B.Tech (IIT) & MRS.JESSY FLORA M.Tech., M.B.A. (Ph.D) met and endorsed the goals of the institute, admission procedure, fee structure, methods & procedure by which parents could interact through the automated system.
B. The MBA block and II year Labs and classrooms were completed by March 2009. The blessing and dedication ceremony was presided over by His Excellency, Peter Remigius D.D, the Bishop of Kottar on 18/4/2009.
Rev. Fr. Casimir Raj S.J, Rev. Fr. Joseph Xavier S.J, Rev. Fr. Arul , Rev. Fr. Soosai, Rev. Fr. Godwin jointly offered the Mass and Prayed for the development of the Institute and welfare of the Trustees and their family members. Loyola choir performed very well throughout the High Mass.
